FALL COLORS

Today we decided to take a drive into
the mountains.

To see all the beautiful fall colors

It was such a beautiful day. Sky was a
bright blue and the clouds all looked like
whipped cream.

The Aspen and the Cottonwood trees were all
aglow. Bright yellows, and rusts mixed with
the dark green of the Pine trees.

What a beautiful day.

Aren't we glad we live in Colorado

SOME SAGE ADVICE

Here is some good advice from a couple who

have lived long enough to be able to give advice.

Sometimes we just need to remember what the

rules of life REALLY are:

You only need TWO tools --

WD-40 and Duct Tape.

If it doesn't move, and should, use the WD-40.

If it shouldn't move and does, use the DUCT TAPE!

THE LAST ROSE OF SUMMER

Quen's rose garden this year was
beautiful. There were Red Roses,
Yellow Roses and Pink Roses.

The fragrance was just wonderful.

But there was one that would just not give up.
It just kept growing and growing and growing

At last measure, it was over 6 feet tall.

NOW THAT'S A LONG
STEMED ROSE.

GUESS WHO IS DOING A BLOG?

Well! I had to join the group. I didn't want the rest of the
gang to get ahead of me. So when Christine and Doug and
Kids came to visit I made Chris sit down with me and
show me how to be a blogger. So you will all know when
I make a big mistake. we can blame it on Christine.
I am not so sure that there will be much excitment
to share with you, but I have SO enjoyed looking in
on all the other blogs, that I decided to do one to...
Check in with me now and then.

POLISH POTTERY

Good news and Bad news

While shopping in Warsaw, Cheryl found

some beautiful Polish Pottery.

She had it shipped to our house for
